Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Is there parking at the dog field?
Yes, there is hard standing parking inside the dog field for a couple of cars and there is more parking just outside the field gate for about 3-4 cars in Felbridge and 1-2 in Pembury.
How long are the sessions?
Each session is 1 hour, but please remember to leave before your hour finishes so you don't delay the next booking.
I have a very small dog or puppy is that okay?
Please be aware our fencing is stock fencing, not rabbit fencing, so small dogs and puppies could get through the 8cm tall holes. You are welcome to come and visit to inspect for yourself if you are unsure if your dog will get through.
How can I change a booking once made?
Any booking can be rescheduled up to 6 hours before the booked slot simply by using the link in the confirmation email or text message you received with your booking. Doing so is free of charge. If you need to make a change with less notice, just contact us by Whatsapp, text or phone.
Is there a code to get in?
There is no code to get access to the Felbridge field but there is one for the Pembury field which is sent out in our reminder emails prior to your session. The field field itself is kept closed but not locked. There is a padlock for you to use to secure the gate while you are in the field but it is only used while someone is in the field. The code for the padlock is written inside the field.
How do I know I've successfully made a booking?
When you make a booking you will receive a confirmation email and text message automatically. On your first booking you will also receive a Welcome email with lots of useful information and directions.
Do you provide detailed directions?
Yes, the website has directions, including a google maps link and What3Words link, and the welcome email you will receive when you make your first booking also has directions. It is quite easy to find.
Will I be sharing the field with other dogs?
No, the field is exclusively for your use. Enjoy!!
Is there water for the dogs?
Yes, drinking water is provided for the dogs from a water barrel and drinking bowl.
What facilities are there?
There are 2 picnic tables and benches, some logs and tyres for the dogs to climb on, parking for cars, drinking water for the dogs, a poo bin and emergency poo bags, and a rain shelter (currently in Felbridge only) and seating underneath.
Is food allowed?
Yes, the field is for your exclusive use, you can bring whatever you want to eat for yourself or your dogs and have a lovely picnic but please remember to clear up after yourself.
Is there somewhere to wash my dog?
Currently the Felbridge field has no dog washing facilities but just up the road is Stan's Dog Stop which has a warm water dog washing station. The Pembury field has a short hose in the field near a metal horse trough but its not near the car park currently.
How many dogs can I bring?
You can normally bring up to 4 dogs with a standard booking, and we also have an enhanced bookings for up to 15 dogs. If you have more dogs we can cater to you as well but you need to contact us directly for pricing.
Can I make a repeat booking?
Currently, all bookings are made through the website but it doesn't have the facility currently for automatically making repeat bookings. If you would like to book a regular slot just make several bookings on our website.
Is there a shelter?
Yes, there is a rain shelter and some seating in the shelter is provided in some fields.
Do you accept XL Bullies
Yes, as long as you adhere to government guidelines and the dog is registered, insured, neutered, micro-chipped and at least one handler per dog. Once in the field and gate is secured you can remove any muzzle and let them off the lead.
I have a reactive dog, is there anything to know?
The field is for your exclusive use, so you won't be sharing with anyone else. You should know though that sometimes horses are in the fields next to the dog field and that the odd car may drive by to access the other fields. Lastly, this field is in the countryside. While the field is secure you may see the odd bit of wildlife from time to time, which will quickly fly or run away when it sees you coming.
What type of fencing is used and how big is the field?
The field is 4 acres, the size of 3 football fields and is secured with 6ft high stock fencing. It is not rabbit fencing, so tiny dogs or animals could get through if they are escape artists.
I am a dog trainer or dog walker, can I use the field?
Yes, anyone is welcome, as long as they pick up the poo. If you would like to advertise your services with us please contact us directly.
How can I book?
All our bookings are online. Simply use the link on the website to book, it's very quick and easy.
Is there a poo bin?
Yes, there is a poo bin and also free emergency poo bags in case you discover you've forgotten to bring some with you.
Are there trees in the field?
There are no trees in the field but there are trees along the edge of the field.
Is there a sensory area for dogs?
There is no sensory area, except for the logs and tyres in the field, but we are looking to add one soon. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
